Basically I merely mentioned that better monitor deals were available.. I.E. www.telemart.co.uk Belinea 17" 10 30 10 at £155 approx. INC delivery with 3 years on site warranty.. Also, for £6  more than [email protected] charges for delivered old technology monitors, with makers badges chiseled off in some low key back yard operation, you can get the Belinea 10 30 40 a .26mm 115mhz @ 1024*768 17" monitor from a main dealer delivered with again 3 years on-site warranty.. Not a difficult choice is it..?

Ok, so as is his style he has reacted badly to this 'evil' post of mine.. and I happened to mention the June 1998 incident where he took payment from  Paul Kearney for an item. He was then (May/June 1998) trading as [email protected]. He claimed to have been on a long holiday and he failed to send Paul Kearney his goods. Paul, who is a very reasonable guy merely posted a request on uk.adverts.computer that Andy explain where his goods were, as Andy had failed to inform him that he was away on holiday. Pity the staff at his large 15 year old company (yeah right??) didn't keep his hundreds of customers informed!

Andys' response was as follows..

Now I defy anyone except rent-a-gob to view Pauls' response as anything but reasonable..

So what does [email protected] do.. check his records and issue an apology??

To summarise: Andy@skynet took £13.00 from Paul kerney in May 1998 for computer related goods, he banked his chq and the chq cleared PROOF .
[email protected] responded with a nasty diatribe of denials, bluff and threats to anyone who supported Pauls' fair and reasonable requests for either a refund or the goods he paid for (let's be honest here - Paul was far more sensible and restrained in this 'incident' than a lot of people, including me would have been).. I have checked with Paul prior to compiling the information here & he has stated that "Nope - Andy never paid up and I just chalked it up to experience (luckily the only bad one I have had!)".. (and he gave me permission to quote him.)

So on the 5th of March 2000, Andy (AKA rent-a-gob) posted to uk.adverts.computers the following..

Above he denies the Paul Kearney incident existed as did his many follow ups on this subject in his impersonation of Johnathon Atkins' stand on the truth..

What the other links and threads above prove is that andy@skynet AKA [email protected] is not a very nice person with the public relations skills of Idi Amin as well as Saddam Husseins wit and charm.. He also lies at will - claimed after weeks/months of a flame war with me and others that I had failed to honour a deal with him. The audacity of thinking that UAC users would believe that he and I would agree a deal after the verbal sparring that had occured.. His nasty streak is badly let down by his IQ level.. and if you want to deal with him you will probably get your goods, though if you don't as Paul Kearney didn't, then I pity your chances of a sensible and fair resolution to the situation..

OK Andy -  its all the truth and its on public record.. Want to send Paul his refund, post a public apology on the newsgroup and stop acting the outraged innocent that is so obviously not the case?? Or as I predict you will, will it be more bluster and threats of physical violence or will your company with its thousands of satisfied customers sue me for every penny I have..?
